The Takeover was the first spicy romcom book I read as I got back into reading as an adult, the series is my ultimate guilty pleasure. Now that we have the family tree we’ve been waiting for, we can better comprehend the kids and their habits. I was looking forward to more scenes with Eddie and them together as a family, and I wasn’t disappointed. This book was also bittersweet because it's the end of an era, the end of The Miles High brothers series. Christopher and Jameson are so similar throwing tantrums when things don’t go their way, but with Christopher I don’t find it funny at all. There’s nothing I love more in a romantic epilogue than when the H and h are screaming at each other, throwing objects, and then not talking for a week…!Totally loved the part when Tristan was taking over as CEO of Anderson Media and started writing the time each person arrived at work Holy molly. Kate and Elliot’s struggle with infertility was so poignantly expressed that I could feel their pain. Its slightly jarring compared to the other epilogues however it has one of the more sweet moments in the entire series between Elliot, Kate, Emily and Jameson. I believe the reason why I loved the Do-Over so much is because of how Christopher fell in love with Hayden, and Eddie.
