Jane sails from Bergen to Kirkenes in Cruising with Jane McDonald. Bergen was founded more than 900 years ago and has a rich history. Famous composer Edvard Grieg was born here. As for Uruguay, capital Montevideo has plenty to offer, including a remarkable mix of modern and colonial architecture. Departing from the colourful port town of Valparaiso, her voyage brings her south to explore glaciers and icebergs en route to Patagonia and on, around the continent’s southern tip, to explore the faraway Falkland Islands. What's more, the two-story foyer boasts a 10-foot blue Strauss Baccarat chandelier with huge sapphires—a stunning piece that once hung in New York's famous Tavern on the Green—and a collection of original artworks is displayed throughout the ship. Cruising along the romantic river affords passengers views of beautiful castles, verdant vineyards and fairy-tale villages. Jane joins the ship on a 14-night cruise in the Caribbean. The first leg takes the former cruise ship singer south-east from Fort Lauderdale, Florida toward the line’s private resort, Princess Cays. From there, Jane continues along to the Virgin Isles and St. Thomas, ending on the island of St. Martin.

Charming Lisbon is lined with colourful buildings, cobbled streets are underfoot and an eye-catching tram serves as enchanting city transport. Like her sister ship Glen Massan, the Glen Tarsan is a lovingly converted wooden hulled former fishing boat. Under the direction of Andy Thoms the Glen Tarsan is now a comfortable small cruise ship perfect for exploring the magnificent Scottish coastline.Silversea’s marketing director, Erin Johnson said: “We are extremely excited that Jane chose to embark on her South American adventure with Silversea, and specially the beautiful Silver Muse.
