We have been using it for some years now after my dog experienced dry skin, dull coat and general fatigue. With selected protein source (turkey) and selected carbohydrate sources of rice and oats, it is a dietetic food, excellent for the reduction of ingredient and nutrient intolerances.

The senior fish and rice complete food is best for her as it contains glucosamine and condroitin (which is helpful for her joints/mobility) it's lower in fat than the adult variety, contains no wheat (which she seems to be a little intolerant with) so her poohs are really easy to pick up and the company is animal friendly unlike ones like Iams (who perform cruel tests on animals). James Wellbeloved Senior with tasty turkey and rice is a complete dry dog food made to a special recipe which meets the specific nutritional needs of elderly dogs.

To create it, we’ve taken a handful of nature’s nourishing ingredients and combined them with flavourful turkey for highly digestible, quality protein. For added peace of mind, it’s naturally hypoallergenic so less likely to cause an adverse food reaction and you will never see any added artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. After around 4/5 weeks use (we switched the food gradually over the course of say 5 days mixing a 1/4 of the new food with the previous kibble initially and then gradually increasing until 100% JW at the end of this period), there appears to be no adverse effects on his digestive system and poos are definitely firmer (which I understand is better for a dog's anal glands).
