The most egregious for me was the use of the cell phone at the end of the book. Given that this wasn't a burner phone, and that he had received calls from someone who was planning to turn him in just shortly before embarking on his 'mission', the police would've been able to trace the signal via cell phone towers, etc. They might've lost the signal once he entered the tunnels, but as he claims to be able to receive slow signals here too, then my point stands. And unless he's tapping into wifi, then he would've been unlikely to be able to receive cell phone signals, let alone usable video once he went into the tunnels and/or underground. Note: I was forced to use one of the failed dragon experiments for this procedure. Whilst the dragons do not really suffer the full effect of the curse, they do possess a limited form of it as a result of dragonkin blood in their veins. I would have preferred a live kin as a test subject, but since the stone has been hidden away the number of available kin has reduced as we have gone into hiding on various worlds. A pity, this data will have to suffice. Though this is not the first time the content of Christie’s novels has been changed, her 1939 novel And Then There Were None was previously published under a different title that included a racist term, which was last published under that name in 1977, and included this word repeatedly in the story. I love Arthur Kayzakian's The Book of Redacted Paintings for its lyricism and its honestly which comes at us not directly but by way of images and music and always speaks in tongues in a way that alerts and awakens. There is both hunger and wisdom in these poems, both silence inside the singing and the fresh music out of rooms that might have been silenced once. Not any more! The new, original, inimitable poet is in the room. Kayzakian deserves our warmest welcome." Amanda Stevens thought her problems were over when she got to college. No longer the shy, awkward teen she was in high school, Amanda felt this was her chance at making new friends and experiencing life. That was until she found out her high school Bully was attending the same college she was. Hudson Harlow.

Sadly it has failed in my eyes for the principle reason that the main character was such a mixed bag that it’s difficult to have any empathy for him. In his poignant and devastating debut collection, Arthur Kayzakian skillfully excavates personal memory and family history to reclaim a missing heirloom. Through poems ranging in documentary, to visual, to lyrical, Kayzakian confronts how the grief of war and displacement are compounded by the loss of stolen familial objects, beloved items that served as a reminder of the life before. Where the harms of war are intensified by new harms, these poems push against historical erasure to establish a new narrative. Kayzakian stirs with poetic prowess while achieving generational reclamation." In the context of government documents, redaction (also called sanitization) generally refers more specifically to the process of removing sensitive or classified information from a document prior to its publication, during declassification.now that i've repeated the words 'literary crime' a thousand times and sounded as sarcastic as i possibly could, let's wrap this up. Yes, there are still holes in the narrative, and leaps of faith required for the plausibility of the preparation part, but in the end the book delivers. It was often hard to find myself caring too much for Michael despite what he'd been through, I had more compassion for his daughter who was also struggling to deal with the loss of her mother, but he seemed to disregard her feelings. He always finds a way to justify his behaviour and responses which shows a lot about his state of mind - this is a man who is very angry at the world and having a plan of revenge allows him to have a routine and distraction from dealing with his own grief in a rational way. This is a very curious novel which I stumbled upon quite by chance, via the ebooks section of my local library. (I like that the title is stubbornly resistant to SEO; the ‘[redacted]’ section does not actually appear on the cover, and it was only listed as ‘Kill’ in the library’s catalogue.)

As is seen in the USS Liberty report, paper documents are usually sanitized by covering the classified and sensitive portions before photocopying the document. The James Bond books are antiquated but there is an argument to be made that the writing needs to be appreciated within its context and seen as a reflection of past values. So we are delivered a story of the average man in the street, suffering intolerable mental torture as a result of a terrorist atrocity touching his family and friends.
